Looking at reality as the manifest Self means coming to the realization that the individual unconscious is outside the individual, manifested through all objects that you perceive. Sound Psychoanalogy is born.
The same way you observe theatre actors  staging a story through characters, actions and set designs, so all that’s in front of you  is the representation of your real inside story.
If external objects are made of matter, the internal ones are untouchable, intangible and therefore spiritual images. These are ideas.
