The ordinary human mind sees the world through a filter of duality.
On the physical level, duality manifests itself in the human brain in the form of two hemispheres, the left – Male – and the right – Female. Rationality and Irrationality try unrelentingly to meet, get along and merge together to become one being, the sum of opposites.
Thesis and Antithesis produce a Synthesis.
All reality is built in the image of these two qualities at work, and so is your life.
At any time you can notice all this if you carefully observe your surroundings. Inside you, male and female are like a pair of lovers who live in your inner home.
The quality of your life depends on how the two are related, and the quality of their relationship.
The world around you is built according to this modality.
In the lowest and most immature dimension, these two qualities are far away, and separate, or are attracted in disharmonious ways or repel and fight, trying to  prevaricate to each other because they are  experienced as potentially destructive or suffocating.

When one of the two forces overpowers the other, whether it is a nation, a couple in an apartment, or the couple inside you, you’re in trouble. The balance is lost.

In the Greek culture, the concept of struggle was expressed by the term diabolos, separation, hence the posthumous Catholic concept devil, or evil.
Now we can say it in another language; separation is bad, when the two forces that construct reality are separate and in opposition. Therefore the idea of Hell, the place created by the diabolos.
All wisdoms, aware of these invisible yet real dimensions, have always tried to accompany human beings towards that unity – the marriage – which is the ultimate goal of every living being. Unity has been defined, throughout the ages, in different ways, but always just making reference to this principle.

PianoMirroring is a way of wisdom since it has the same awareness of intent and shares its ultimate goals.
Not only, a way of wisdom is considered as such because it offers tools and precise strategies.
Because the modality with which the human being faces reality is dual, there are two ways that wisdom simultaneously uses to achieve the purpose: a way of the masculine, knowing, and a way of the feminine, feeling.

PianoMirroring also has two instruments: knowledge and experiential feeling.
When we say knowledge, however, we do not mean talking about theory or getting lost in analytic dialectic, rather we use language and logic as containers and not as producers.
Reason, when left alone, is sterile.
Knowledge does not mean the theory of living, rather a knowledge which I call oracular.

The term hearing means the development of the higher qualities of being, of human virtues, of the great inner impulses that human beings know, because the impulses belong to them.  Often they remain latent, potential, and are therefore the individual’s hidden heritage.
Music, when consciously used, shows one’s duality in geometry and sentimental evocative power, finding unity in harmonic work.
For this reason, it has the power to bring out the dual heritage of the human being, to synthesize it and to awaken it to daily attention.
